Your hosts, Sheila & Jack Pope escaped to the Sunshine Coast thirty-five years ago. We are both extremely active in the community, and enjoy sharing the beauty of the Sunshine Coast with visitors from around the world.

Jack retired from the classroom in 2006, but quickly replaced his love of teaching with other interests. He is the Past President of the Sunshine Coast B&B Association, a Founding Director of Sunshine Coast Tourism, and served on the Board of Directors for Vancouver Coast & Mountains Tourism Region.

Sheila recently retired from the real estate business, where she enjoyed a very successful career. She has replaced her busy work schedule with volunteer work as a member of the Sunshine Coast Search & Rescue Team and is also a member of Rotary.

Retirement has given us both the gift of time... time to persue hobbies and time for travel. We enjoy staying in touch with friends, old and new, and each year publish a newsletter to keep everyone up to date.
