Your hosts, Sheila & Jack Pope escaped to the Sunshine Coast over thirty years ago. They are both extremely active in the community, and enjoy sharing the beauty of the Sunshine Coast with visitors from around the world. They also enjoy traveling to those other parts of the world, as well.

Jack recently retired from teaching, but enjoys keeping busy with other interests. He is the Past President of the Sunshine Coast B&B Association, a Founding Director of Sunshine Coast Tourism, and sits on the Board of Directors for Vancouver Coast & Mountains Tourism Region.

Sheila sells real estate for Prudential Sussex Realty, and has been a member of the Master Medallion Club for several years. The Sunshine Coast is experiencing growth, primarily due to its proximity to Vancouver, and the demographics of baby boomers who are looking for both recreational and retirement property.
